The British-Ukrainian Law Association (BULA) in conjunction with the British Ukrainian Society , The Law Society of England & Wales and Manches LLP held a reception in the Reading Room of the Law Society on the evening of 5th February. 

The purpose of the event was to gather together lawyers and judges, parliamentarians, civil servants and others who have an interest in the development and promotion of justice and the rule of law in the United Kingdom and in Ukraine. 

HHJ Sir Gavyn Arthur, a judge and former Lord Mayor of the City of London who led official visits to Kyiv gave a keynote speech
